Fitness paths, swings or inflatable trampolines are available. „I really appreciated that I can get a cup of coffee peacefully while children are playing in my view,“ entrusts Martina Pavelková from Prague, who spent weekend in Špindler?v Mlýn with her two children. Builders thought on the comfort of parents as on the fun for children. All playgorunds have good visibility from adjoining buffets and restaurants so you can relax and enjoy unforgettable views with a nice cup of coffee or an tasty lunch while your children are playing.

Discover Krkonoše through educative paths. Even with a baby carriage

Do you prefer fun which will help to educate your children a bit? Try four educative paths leading through the hillside of Medv?dín and from Plán? to Svatý Petr. You can just pull out with cableway and enjoy a walk full of fun, quizzes and tasks. You will discover a lot of interesting informations about Krkonoše and its inhabitants. There is always a reward waiting for children when they answer the questions correctly . Educative paths are situated almost on 30 kilometers. „You can probably know “The Bear” and “The Hitchiking” ones from past years but even them went through reconstruction. Two paths are completely new. Path called „Krakonoš´s tale“ leads from Medv?dín to Špindler?v Mlýn, measures 9,5 km and is available for walkers even with baby carriages and wheelchair users,“ says ?en?k Jílek. Not even almost 4 km long „Moss Path“ on Svatý Petr is less interesting. „Children were totally excited, they were exploring, searching and smelling all plants which they discovered on the path. They wrote down every information they got and just seemed completely like real botanical researchers,“ laughed mom Petra who spent a trip with some friends and bunch of children in Špindler?v Mlýn.

Špindl Bike Park joined the favourite Pumptrack

Well-known Bike Park on Svatý Petr offers six tracks in total so you can ride the Špindler slopes even on the bike. Beginners as well as experienced bikers can enjoy. Brand new Pumptrack is ideal even for children. Elliptical track with a lot of swings and sloped curves is situated on the level of finishing spot of the slopes. Bikers don´t need to use pedals there and only with „pumping“ of arms and legs while riding through artificial bumps are able to bike around without stamping. Trying of this adrenalin experience is for free for children even adults.

Ride down Hromovka on the tricycle or sail the lake on a ship

The other innovation preapred for it´s visitors in skiareal are off-road tricycles. It´s the best choice if you love the adrenalin. „I have to confess that I´ve never experienced anything like that before. I´ve been skiing on Hromovka many times, but it was quiet rough on the tricycle,“ 15 years old Tomáš who tried the slop with his father doesn´t hide his excitment. You can easily borrow the tricycles at the upper cableway station Svatý Petr – Plán? or under the bottom station in the „Spindl Motion Mountain Shop“. Terrain is leading through the blue slope on the designated route from Plán? to Svatý Petr. Tricycles are easily controlled and children 14 + can drive them on their own. You can liven your vacation up even with a cruise on the boat and take a look on Krkonoše from the water level. You can borrow four seated boat on the bank of Labe dam then sail out on the artificial reservoir and enjoy view on the mountain town from different position.

Špindler?v Mlýn offers active stay for everyone. It is popular destination of many walkers and cyclists. You can try to ride the new 25 km long cycling path leading to Herlíkovce even to play volleyball or tennis on perfectly adapted clay.
